What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our session, you can expect to find a safe, judgment-free space where you are heard, and your experiences honored. You are provided the space to speak your truth and are offered a helping hand to begin your journey of healing.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I encourage my clients to engage in self-exploration and find their creative voice through interventions that encourage them to adopt new attitudes and feelings towards life situations. I am culturally sensitive and provide trauma informed care. I do not provide cookie cutter care and base my treatment methods based on the needs of the individual client.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Have over 10 years experience helping clients become aware of inaccurate or negative thinking allowing them to view challenging situations more clearly and respond to them in a more effective way.

Culturally Sensitive Therapy

As a Black Haitian descendant, I understand the importance of understanding and respecting other cultural backgrounds. I provide psychotherapy that considers a client's cultural background and identity when creating a treatment plan. This approach helps clients feel more comfortable and understood, and can lead to better therapeutic outcomes.

Trauma Informed Care

I provide compassionate care to clients who are currently working on their trauma. I ensure that I utilize the knowledge, skills and abilities to help clients walk through their past and current trauma.

Grief Therapy

I provide Grief therapy based off of the needs of the bereaved. Loss is individual, specific, and not always experienced in the same way for everyone (Neimeyer, 2015).

Psychoeducation

I provide psycho-education to help clients better understand their circumstances. Clients are provided education on their mental health disorder, triggers, learning and identifying much needed coping strategies and more.
