Are you thinking about making a change? We know change can be hard. Within a supportive therapeutic relationship, a safe space to express your thoughts and feelings, to consider new ideas, positive change and personal growth can happen. Whether it is life stressors, anxiety, depression, trauma, or addictive behaviors, I am here to help. Welcome! I’m Ken Holt with Integrous Counseling LLC. I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker, Supervisor, and Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor, with over 10 years of experience in human services. My mission is to provide the highest quality counseling to support healthy adjustment to life changes, recovery from anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, problem gambling, and addictive behaviors. I provide person centered care, motivational interviewing, trauma informed care, ACT, CBT, EMDR, and mindfulness-based interventions. I will support you with your personal goals.
During a session, you can expect a warm introduction, dedicated time identifying and processing your needs, exploring options, setting goals, practicing skills, and making commitments to practice between sessions. We will celebrate the successes and persist through the challenges as you accomplish your goals.
Integrity means living as your authentic self - even when it's difficult. Welcome to Integrous Counseling LLC! I believe therapy is a partnership. I approach each session with empathy, curiosity, and open mindedness. In addition to providing counseling services, I have developed and supervised treatment programs for mental health, substance use, and problem gambling.
We will practice skills to overcome difficult thoughts and feelings to follow through with your personally chosen meaningful goals and values and live your most fulfilling life.
We will use mindfulness based cognitive behavioral skills to help you become more aware of how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors impact one another to support positive change.
With empathy, warmth, and support we will explore the reasons for and against making any chosen changes and maintaining motivation to stay on track with your goals.
EMDR can be a good option following establishing safety, foundational coping skills, and having supportive relationships. With EMDR we can work through difficult memories and experiences to support healing.
