Hi, I’m Micaela, and I’m a licensed therapist who believes in creating a space where you can show up as your full, authentic self. My approach is warm, affirming, and collaborative rooted in the belief that healing happens when we feel seen, heard, and accepted without judgment. I’m especially passionate about supporting individuals who have felt othered, misunderstood, or pressured to conform to ideas of who they "should" be. I get it, not just as a therapist, but as a individual who's also had to navigate life stress, personal change, and emotional overwhelm. Those experiences have shaped how I show up in this work with empathy, honesty, and a deep respect for your process.
In our first session together, we’ll focus on getting to know each other and beginning to build a foundation for our work. We'll go through some intake questions to help me understand your background, current concerns, and what brings you to therapy. This is also a chance for you to share your expectations, ask any questions, and start thinking about your goals. There’s no pressure to have everything figured out, this is a space to explore at your own pace.
I’ve had the opportunity to work in a variety of roles and settings with diverse populations. Over the years, I’ve seen clients engage in deep self-discovery and grow into more fulfilled and empowered versions of themselves. I utilize a variety of different therapeutic approaches and ultimately I choose modalities that are best for each individual person. My goal as your therapist is to offer a warm, supportive space where you can feel safe to be or practice becoming your authentic self, without apology. So often, we’re shaped by messages about who we should be or what we should be doing, but I believe those expectations can be limiting and get in the way of real growth.

I work with clients to explore how their personal narratives are shaped by experiences, culture, and relationships and together, we identify alternative stories that support healing, growth, and preferred ways of living.
