From CBT to DBT and everything in-between, it is my hope that I can work with you as your guide in discovering your own happiness and meeting your full potential. Our therapeutic relationship will be both collaborative and holistic. I do not have a “one approach fits all” philosophy. I hope to empower you with the ability to enrich your overall quality of life.

Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is a form of psychological treatment that has been demonstrated to be effective for a range of problems including depression, anxiety disorders, alcohol and drug use problems, marital problems, eating disorders, and severe mental illness. We will work together, in a collaborative fashion, to develop an understanding of the problem and to develop a treatment strategy. TF-CBT
DBT acknowledges the need for change in a context of acceptance of situations and recognizes the constant flux of feelings—many of them contradictory—without having to get caught up in them. The “dialectic” in dialectical behavior therapy is an acknowledgment that real life is complex, and health is not a static thing but an ongoing process
