Hi, my name is Hao. Are you struggling with worries or negative thoughts that just won't go away? Do you find it difficult to stay positive and treat yourself with compassion? I am a licensed clinical psychologist in Ohio. I received my doctorate of Clinical Psychology, Psy.D., from Wright State University, School of Professional Psychology. I specialize in empowering clients, giving people the skills and insight, to overcome issues relating to anxiety, depression, trauma, and personal relationships. Whether you're dealing with overwhelming feelings, cycles of anxiety and depression, or relationship issues. I'm here to help. Therapy can seem daunting but you're making the right choice. You deserve a safe space to heal and grow. In our sessions together, I'll meet you with compassion and evidence-based techniques so you can overcome the hangups and habits holding you back. Let's work together!
Starting from our initial session, you can expect to feel a sense of relief by sharing your story and struggles in a safe and empathic space. From there, we will work together to establish the goals that you want to reach. As we progress through our work, you will gain insight into your struggles and learn the skills that will help you to overcome them. If we hit roadblocks along the way, don't hesitate to share your concerns with me. I believe wholeheartedly that we will be able to overcome any challenges with a strong working alliance and an open mind toward change!
I am a cognitive-behavioral therapist. I often integrate elements of humanistic, multicultural, and interpersonal theory in my practice. Moreover, I believe in engaging clients with empathy and compassion. In addition to evidence-based CBT techniques, I believe in using people’s personal strengths to overcome their difficulties.
My area of expertise is providing individual therapy for adult clients with mood disorders (i.e., anxiety and depression), adjustment disorders, posttraumatic stress disorder, personality disorders, relationship issues, and cultural-related issues.
