I am a licensed psychotherapist with a doctorate in Social Work specializing in faith based Christian counseling, narcissistic family systems, and inner child that is used to guide others through grief & loss, life transition, and unresolved inner child dynamics. I assist individuals in understanding and addressing the impact of past experiences on their current mental health and relationships. My professional goal is to create a safe, nurturing environment and provide you with the support and insights needed for lasting personal growth and positive well-being.
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.
One of my greatest strengths as a therapist is my ability to create a safe, grounded space where clients feel truly seen, heard, and emotionally understood. Many of the individuals I work with have experienced long-term relational trauma, including narcissistic family dynamics, emotional neglect, and identity-based wounds. I bring a calm, empathetic presence that helps clients feel secure enough to explore difficult experiences without fear of judgment. Beyond processing emotional pain, I help clients rebuild self-trust, establish healthy boundaries, and move from survival mode toward greater confidence, clarity, and emotional freedom.
I serve adults and families are experiencing grief, loss, anxiety, depression, life and family transitions, unresolved inner child wounds, and narcissistic family or relationship dynamics. Using evidence-based therapy/ faith-based approach, I help clients heal, strengthen self-worth, establish healthy boundaries, improve relationships, build resilience, and experience lasting emotional growth and personal transformation through compassionate collaborative care tailored to their unique needs.

Great first session and I really appreciated how personable Dr. Zelina was. It's like she just knows and I appreciate the way she connects certain thoughts. We got to speak a bit about her life too and I think that helps to not feel like its just a one way but a partnership and friend.
