I am a bilingual licensed professional clinical counselor. I have been fortunate to work in a variety of settings and identify as a person of color. I am happy to provide sessions in English and Spanish. I have a Master of Arts from John Carroll University in Community Mental Health Counseling and a State of Ohio license to practice clinical mental health. When you are ready to take the next steps, I am prepared to meet you.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, my goal is to welcome you to our space and start getting to know each other. Together we will devise specific goals to address in session and discuss ways to get there.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Having worked in this field for more than 15 years, my greatest strengths as a provider is my commitment to my clients and my compassion. I enjoy getting to know the clients I work with and together making strides to increase clients' quality of life.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT has been demonstrated to be effective for a range of problems including depression, anxiety disorders, couples therapy, marital problems, and other severe mental illness. CBT allow us to view our own unhelpful ways of thinking and faulty learned patterns or behaviors. We can learn better ways of coping with them, thereby improving our quality of life and mental health.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

In a fast paced world, I want my clients to be able to slow down and identify solutions to move them forward. By using this modality, we can identify alternatives or well-thought out solutions instead of reacting emotionally.
