Hey there! My name is Kaylee, I'm a Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW) based in Michigan. I graduated from Michigan State University. I aim to help young people and adults who find themselves struggling with stress, self-doubt, relationship anxiety, and generalized anxiety overcome challenges and become what they determine is a healthy and happy version of themself. I am passionate about creating a sense of belonging between people and bring this belief into my practice.
During our first session, we will spend time getting to know each other with introductions, we will discuss what brings you to therapy and what you are hoping to get out of our time together.
I believe in a well-rounded approach to all things in life and will help clients approach their lives from a holistic perspective.
I utilize CBT to help clients understand the distortions our brains often play on repeat along.
I believe strongly in compassion, not only for others, but for the self as well. I tap into this with clients by reframing harmful self-talk.
When clients have difficulty due to their inner dialogue conflicting with their knowing and desires for their external world, I utilize IFS to help them become more familiar with all of the parts of their Self and how to soothe when needed.
I believe in bringing together treatment modalities that meet the client where they are at.
