Hi, I am Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have been in the mental health field 15+ years, went back to graduate school in 2013. In the process of completing my hours for licensure, I worked with children, youth, adults, and families. I utilize a person-centered approach to help individuals identify their goals and help them navigate this journey. Starting therapy can be challenging. We start where you are and go from there.
In our first session together, individuals should expect a safe and inviting environment where we get to know each other. I ask guided questions to help individuals identify their goals to create a plan to fit the individuals specific needs.
I believe that feeling seen, heard, and valued are fundamental to any relationship. I strive to provide a safe, warm, and encouraging environment to help you facilitate change.
I will support, guide, and psychoeducate with compassion and warmth. I love working with individuals who are willing to start their journey even if they don't feel necessarily ready.
Core beliefs inform our thoughts which is fundamental in our day to day, making decisions, relationships, and most importantly how we view ourselves. I psychoeducate individuals on the connection between their feelings, thoughts, and actions. I assist individuals in learning about thought distortions and ways to manage them. Additionally, I guided individuals in developing use of coping skills that are good fit for them.
