I believe in a solution-focused approach to therapy and have training in trauma-focused CBT, EFT, and EMDR. I offer a safe, supportive and non-judgmental environment in which you can be guided and supported on your journey towards symptom recovery or regular management of life’s daily stressors and challenges. I have extensive experience with police and fire department personnel, EMS, emergency services, and familiarity and experience working with the members of the armed forces and critical incident stress management.
Our first session will be a friendly introduction and joint effort of discovery as to whether we are a good match to work together. If I am not the best person to help you achieve your goals, I will do what I can to help you find the one who is.
I genuinely care about the people I work with and am honored to have been offered a small glimpse into your life. I am happy that my clients are taking the hard first step towards change and would like to help make this process more comfortable.
I have had great success in assisting clients with processing their past traumas by utilizing a combination of EMDR with CBT. This process has been instrumental in helping clients to reduce or eliminate subsequent somatic effects of their past experiences, such as symptoms which contribute to diagnoses of depression and anxiety.
