I am a therapist with over 30 years of experience helping people. I enjoy helping people overcome challenges and move toward their goals. The focus of my work is helping people develop healthy coping skills so they can grow and change. My goal is to provide a safe and nurturing therapeutic space for people to explore their thoughts and feelings so they can move forward.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session I will be gathering information so I can better understand your concerns. We will work together to identify what your treatment goals are. We will start to identify healthy coping skills so you can start to feel better right away.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I think my strength as a therapist is my ability to create a strong therapeutic relationship. I work to create a safe therapeutic environment where clients can feel free to share their thoughts and feelings without fear of judgement or criticism. My focus is on empowering clients to be able to overcome challenges and move forward.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Exploring your thoughts and changing how you think can have a profound impact on your emotions. Through therapy you can become more aware of thoughts that are negatively impacting you, and replace them with healthier ways of thinking. Positive thoughts lead to positive feelings and positive behaviors.

Supportive

Therapy is a safe, non-judgmental place to discuss your issues. We will work together to explore your thoughts and feelings, and to help you overcome the issues holding you back.
