Hi! I am a Licensed Marriage Family Therapist licensed in Colorado and Texas. I have been providing therapy for 10 years and my practice is completely virtual which means I can reach clients throughout both states. I am a relational therapist focusing on one’s own relationship within themselves, in their families, communities and the world around them. I help clients set boundaries, advocate for themselves using their own inner strength and increasing their self awareness.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

When clients come to session, my goal is first and foremost to help them feel comfortable and get to know one another. I am an integrative therapist meaning I am engaging and ask questions and also encourage clients to share their stories as they get to know me. It takes time to open up and build trust. My goal is to provide that safe space with empathy, non-judgmental, and care.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I was once told by a seasoned therapist that “the heart of a therapist meant to do this work comes naturally and shines through.” I have always felt that my heart sees the good in others and people often share they feel safe and heard as well as guided throughout their therapy journey and value the integrative part of their therapy.

My treatment methods

Person-centered (Rogerian)

I have 10+ years of experience focusing on helping clients navigate their own strength and find their own resiliency and path forward.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

I have used IFS personally and professionally. I am currently working on certification but have knowledge and experience using this modality often in sessions. It’s valuable and applicable to every client focusing our internal and external family system, identifying parts of ourselves that need healing and connection.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have used this approach regularly for years to help clients shift their thinking that can included negative self beliefs, distorted thinking, understanding values that are passed on generationally and changing them to align with who a client is today.

Grief Therapy

After going through extensive grief work and years of helping others through all types of grief and loss, I have years of experience addressing and processing grief through grief therapy.

Strength-Based

I am a strength based therapist that helps clients focus on progress, small wins, what is strong and good inside of each client, focus on resiliency, using their voice and being their own advocate.
