I've spent several years working in the mental health field providing support to teens, young adults and parents. As a licensed clinical social worker, I possess extensive experience with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to address anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and chronic pain management. Our focus in session will be on identifying and reframing negative thought patterns, emotions and behaviors to promote healthy coping strategies and lasting change.
My approach with Interpersonal Therapy as a brief psychotherapeutic will allow us to focus on interpersonal relationships, identify emotion patterns, develop coping strategies and improve communication skills. Ideally clients who are going through a transitional phase in life can benefit from effective communication and coping stratgies.

We will collaborate on mindfulness practices that focus on breath and body sensations, observation of thoughts without judgement, self compassion, mindful movement and meditation.
