The intention of services provided to present and future clients are to support them in navigating through the pain. The only way out is through. Not above, below, or around the pain but through it. The good news is you are not alone and don’t have to do it alone. Utilize the resources offered in this collaborative effort in creating the life (mind, body, & soul) you deserve.
Whatever you give is what you will get. There is nothing to be taken from me. It will all come from you. I am just a guide helping you tap into your own potential!
I think my greatest strength as a provider is empathy. I can sit in the seat with you and normalize everything you are experiencing and help you find the light if you desire to see it and move towards it. I can meet you where you are and respectfully allow you to be wherever you choose to be. This is your journey after all and you have a right to live the life you create or accept.
I believe it is important to support patients in making sure their desires and behaviors align with their morals and values. Supporting them in being mindful of what is allows them to make informed decisions on what is with in their control and out of their control.
I am a firm believer in identifying distortions in one's thinking and reframing thoughts and perspectives that support desired outcomes in ways that adds to the person and the environment surrounding the individual.
Mindfulness and radical acceptance have been techniques that I use in my own personal life. The only power we truly have is within this here and now moment and it is the only space from which we can operate. The past is gone and the future does not exist. Here and now is all there is.
Surrendering to a power greater than ourselves supports us in asking for assistance from the Universe and relinquishing control. Oftentimes we strive to be in control to create a false sense of security but our true power rests within letting go, being open to the unknown, and going with the ebb and flow of life. All the tools we need reside within us. We must remain present and approach life moment by moment, knowing there is assistance all around us.
The past has a place and can be helpful in helping us explore how we got to become what we are today but it is important not to get stuck there. The information from the past is only useful if we are willing to use it to move forward rather than choosing to dwell and remain stuck in what we can't change.
