(she/her)
I am a licensed Clinical Psychologist and have been practicing for the last 10 years. After earning my degree, I worked as a psychologist in the United States Navy, in a variety of roles and settings, for several years and then started my private practice. I am looking forward to this next chapter and hoping I can be a part of yours as well!
In our first session, I look forward to gathering details and information specifically about you and the challenges you are experiencing. We will also work together to identify treatment goals and a plan of action for the future.
I seek to understand as a priority when I am providing treatment and want to make sure you feel like you are being heard. Partaking in treatment and doing the work required is often very difficult, for some, the hardest thing they might ever do and it requires a collaborative and trusting relationship with a provider.
I love working with adolescents and adults with a variety of different stressors going on in their lives. Symptoms such as anxiety, depression, difficulty sleeping etc. are very common these days and I am happy to help be a part of your care team and support system. I also have a unique understanding of those who are active duty and veterans.

While I do practice other methods of treatment, mostly I use CBT. This is an evidenced-based treatment and it is well researched for anxiety, depression and other mood disorders. Additionally, it is the basis of two treatment options for trauma-based disorders.
