What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our initial session, we will focus on gathering information to establish therapeutic goals. I will also address any concerns you may have about the treatment process and how therapy can assist you in overcoming your challenges. Additionally, we will explore strategies to facilitate your learning and facilitate positive changes.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I specialize in fostering healing within relationships, whether they are painful, bewildering, or simply unsatisfying. My goal is to empower you to effectively manage challenging emotions and navigate complex situations, enabling you to move through life transitions and issues with enhanced confidence and ease. Over the past ten years, I have had the privilege of working with clients within the LGBTQ+ community, assisting them in building healthier relationships with their own identities and establishing boundaries with others in their lives.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

We'll use CBT to help identify and change unhelpful thinking patterns to improve quality of life. It's a problem-oriented approach that focuses on the present and finding solutions for current issues.

Gottman method

Gottman is a couples therapy approach that aims to improve relationships through research-based interventions and education. You'll learn to communicate better, increase intimacy, manage conflict, and build admiration with your partner/partners.

Humanistic

When we focus on the whole person, rather than just our thought processes, we heal the whole person. Humanistic psychologists believe that people are influenced by their self-perceptions and the meanings they attach to their experiences, and that their behavior is connected to their inner feelings and self-image.
