Hi, my name is Sasha. I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Pennsylvania, and I also hold a license in Minnesota as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW). I received my Masters from the University of Pittsburgh and have been a practicing clinician for over 10 years. I work with young adults working through life transitions and burn out, in addition to adults of all ages experiencing anxiety, depression, or difficulty coping.
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then discuss the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions. Goal setting is collaborative and we will address the concerns you identify as important.
Having worked in the field for over 10 years, and working as a Social Worker in different settings and with different client populations, I've developed a strong understanding of a variety of issues and concerns. I've gained knowledge and experience to individualize treatment and encourage clients to reach their fullest potential.
CBT is a treatment modality I use often with individuals experiencing intrusive thoughts, self-esteem concerns, anxiety, depression, and more.
I will adjust therapeutic modalities based upon individualized needs. However, I always implement person-centered, strengths based, and active listening with all individuals. Other modalities may include: solution focused brief therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, psychoeducation, motivational interviewing, etc.
