Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, you will have time to share your story and what you are hoping to change. We will collaborate on clear goals, I will guide you in creating a practical roadmap and will introduce evidence-based tools you can start using right away. If you would like to see whether we are a good fit, you are welcome to schedule a free 15‐minute consultation.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

In our work together, you can expect a calm, collaborative space where you feel truly seen, validated, and supported. My approach is warm, trauma‐informed, and grounded in your strengths. I will help you slow down, make sense of what you are feeling and introduce practical tools you can start using between sessions. I will gently challenge unhelpful patterns, while always respecting your pace and honoring your lived experience.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work with clients navigating a variety of goals, including addressing anxiety, depression, life transitions, grief and loss, trauma, parenting support, self worth and women's issues. Together, we will make sense of what you are experiencing and create realistic steps toward the life you want. If what you have read resonates with you, I would be honored to walk with you in this next step. Feel free to reach out with any questions or to schedule a consultation.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is a structured and goal-oriented form of psychotherapy that focuses on how thoughts, feelings, and behaviors interact. It operates on the principle that changing irrational or unhelpful thinking and behavior patterns can improve mental health and reduce emotional distress, anxiety and depressive symptoms.

Trauma-Focused CBT

Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is a specialized adaptation of CBT. TF-CBT integrates cognitive-behavioral techniques with trauma-sensitive interventions to help reduce trauma-related symptoms and promote recovery.

Motivational Interviewing

Motivational interviewing is a collaborative, goal-oriented approach to strengthen personal motivation and commitment to change. It helps individuals navigate ambivalence regarding behavior changes by exploring their own reasons for change in a supportive, non-judgmental environment.

Strength-Based

Strength-based therapy is a positive, collaborative psychotherapy approach focusing on an individual’s internal strengths, resilience, and resources rather than solely on deficits or symptoms. It empowers clients to overcome challenges by leaning into their existing skills and successes.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

Person-centered therapy is a humanistic, non-directive approach focusing on a client’s capacity for self-healing and personal growth. It emphasizes a supportive, empathetic, and non-judgmental environment, allowing clients to explore their feelings and improve self-esteem. My role is to be a facilitator utilizing empathy, congruence, and unconditional positive regard to foster change.
