Have you ever felt that your life is out of control and hopeless? How do you get to a place where you feel that you are living a life worth living? I have years of experience working with a widespread of mental health diagnosis where I am seeing people on their worst day. The pain from the past and present is surfacing in the moment I am meeting with them. I am certified in trauma therapy. I use a lot of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to include mindfulness techniques. I want to offer you the opportunity to tell me your story in a safe place with no fear of judgement. I believe people have the capacity to take control over their emotions and behaviors if provided the appropriate tools. It is exciting to watch change happen.
I have a lot of experience working with children and families. I work with children from age 6 and up. I have had the opportunity to work with many different mental health diagnosis and symptoms. We will work together to learn how to better regulate emotions. We will discuss past and current coping strategies and work together to learn new coping strategies and change behaviors.
I use a combination of DBT, CBT, mindfulness, and deep breathing techniques. I have several workbooks and handouts that I provide to help clients identify triggers and responses.
I have had the opportunity to work with many different populations and backgrounds and thoroughly enjoy getting to hold the space with others and be present in a time of hurting and pain.
