Seeking therapy is a courageous first step toward healing. You deserve to feel seen and supported. I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who works with adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, life transitions, relationship challenges, low self-esteem, grief, and the lasting effects of difficult experiences. I offer a warm, supportive, therapeutic partnership where you can feel understood and empowered to make meaningful change. I have been practicing for 7 years and while I currently provide Telehealth services, I have experience working across a variety of settings including community mental health agencies, within school systems, and in group practice, which has given me the gift of working with individuals from many different walks of life. My approach is integrative and strengths-based, meaning I consider how your thoughts, emotions, relationships, and life experiences are interconnected while drawing from approaches including CBT, IFS, attachment theory, mindfulness, and trauma-informed care to help you build insight, develop practical tools, and create lasting change. I believe healing happens within a strong therapeutic relationship, and together we’ll build practical tools, deepen self-understanding, and work toward the goals that matter most to you in a way that feels authentic and sustainable.
First and foremost, from our first session onwards, my priority will be focused on building trust and familiarity to make therapy a space that feels safe. While we will review your paperwork and intake forms, my approach is conversational and honors the emotions that may come with seeking therapy. You may feel excited, anxious, doubtful, or a mix of feelings. No matter what emotions come with the start of a new therapeutic experience, we will take the time to explore them together. We will discuss what brings you to therapy at this time in your life and focus on understanding more about your history, your current life and your hopes and goals for our work together.
I bring authenticity, compassion, and active engagement to our sessions and center my practice in kindness, humor, and the perspective that each human has a depth of unique strengths that, when harnessed, can act as a guide to a more healed experiencing of life.
My ideal clients are those who value a collaborative, compassionate approach and are looking for both deeper insight and practical tools to help them feel more grounded, connected, and empowered in their daily lives. I enjoy working with young adults and adults who desire greater insight into patterns of behaviors, relationship challenges, those who are struggling with change, and individuals seeking supportive exploration and guidance regarding actionable shifts and changes to increase their overall well-being. Additionally, working with highly sensitive individuals and empaths working on shifting interpersonal dynamics and building boundaries and self-esteem to decrease anxiety and relational distress.
