If your mind feels constantly “on,” you get stuck in task paralysis, or you swing between overwhelmed and shutdown, it can make everyday life feel really hard to manage. I can help you move through feeling overwhelmed, reduce mental noise, and create simple, practical structure so life feels more doable and less exhausting. I work with individuals who are struggling with anxiety, attention and focus challenges, trauma, and persistent emotional patterns. My approach is down-to-earth and collaborative, focused on giving you tools that match how your mind works so you can feel more grounded, focused, and in control.

Whether you are navigating stress, working through past experiences, or seeking a deeper understanding of yourself, my goal is to help you feel more grounded, empowered, and confident moving forward.

First session

Your initial session is an opportunity to discuss your current situation and the reasons behind your decision to seek help. We’ll concentrate on the most challenging aspects of your life right now and explore your desired changes. There’s no pressure to have everything figured out. We’ll take things one step at a time and work together to make sense of what you’re experiencing.

Strengths

I adopt a strengths-based approach, which emphasizes the resilience and abilities you already possess. When you feel stuck, overwhelmed, or in need of deeper self-understanding, we build upon your existing strengths and gradually enhance them.

Ideal clients

I work best with adults and teens who often feel overwhelmed, emotionally drained, or trapped in challenging patterns. In our collaborative work, we shift our focus from dwelling on the past to building practical tools that you can apply immediately. These tools include techniques to calm racing thoughts, regain composure when feeling overwhelmed, and reframe unhelpful thinking patterns, ultimately making life feel more manageable.

Treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a structured, goal-oriented therapy that helps people identify and change unhelpful thoughts and behaviors. It focuses on the connection between thoughts, feelings, and actions and builds practical skills for managing anxiety, depression, and other emotional difficulties.

EMDR

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a structured therapy that aids individuals in processing and healing from traumatic or distressing experiences. It employs guided eye movements or other forms of bilateral stimulation while recalling memories, enabling the brain to reprocess them, thereby reducing their overwhelming and manageable nature.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a skills-based therapy that empowers individuals to manage intense emotions, navigate stress effectively, and enhance their interpersonal relationships. DBT integrates acceptance and change, emphasizing mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and effective communication.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) is a form of psychotherapy that helps people accept difficult thoughts and feelings instead of fighting them. It also focuses on committing to actions that align with their values.

Couples Counseling

Couples counseling provides a supportive environment where partners collaborate with a therapist to address challenges, break harmful argument patterns, and enhance their understanding of each other. This process helps uncover unspoken needs, improve daily communication, and equip individuals with practical tools to resolve conflicts effectively. Ultimately, it offers a neutral space for partners to explore their best course of action, whether it involves strengthening their relationship or parting ways respectfully.
