Hi, I’m Adhanet, an LPC with over 16 years of experience. I’m a warm, collaborative, trauma-informed, neuroaffirming, and culturally responsive therapist. I believe you are the expert on your life. I provide a safe, nonjudgmental space to explore your experiences, understand patterns, build on your strengths, and find clarity as you move forward.
In our first session, I want you to feel heard, understood, and comfortable being yourself. We’ll explore what brought you to therapy, what matters most to you, and what you hope to change. Whether working individually or with a family, I meet you where you are and tailor my approach to your unique needs, strengths, and goals.
I bring warmth, patience, cultural awareness, and real-life perspective to each session. I know when to hold space quietly and when to challenge you gently. I’ll validate your experiences while helping you recognize patterns, trust your strengths, and find your own path forward.
My ideal clients are adults who may feel overwhelmed, stuck, misunderstood, or disconnected from themselves. They may be navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, neurodivergence, relationship or family concerns, cultural expectations, parenting challenges, or major life transitions. They are looking for a safe, nonjudgmental space where they can feel heard and understood while gaining clarity, recognizing patterns, building healthier coping skills, setting boundaries, and creating meaningful change. They value a collaborative approach and are open to reflection, growth, and gentle challenge.

I tailor therapy to each client rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach. I use Person-Centered Therapy to create a safe, supportive space, CBT to explore how thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected, and SFBT to identify strengths, practical solutions, and achievable goals. The approach I use depends on your individual needs, preferences, and goals.
