About me

You're accomplished, dependable, and outwardly composed, yet feel anxious, depleted, or disconnected from yourself. I work with creatives, professionals, entrepreneurs, and public-facing leaders who are accustomed to functioning at a high level but no longer want success to come at the expense of their peace, identity, or relationships. You may be overthinking decisions, carrying pressure that no one else sees, questioning your direction, struggling with imposter feelings, or realizing that the version of you that helped you succeed no longer feels like who you are. Sometimes the problem is not that your life is falling apart. It is that the life you built no longer feels fully aligned with you. My approach is identity-focused, emotionally attuned, and practical. We will look beneath the immediate symptoms to understand the patterns, experiences, expectations, and internal pressures shaping how you move through your life. From there, we will work toward meaningful changes that support greater self-trust, emotional steadiness, and a stronger relationship with yourself. Therapy with me is not about becoming better at tolerating a life that no longer fits. It is about coming back to who you are and building from there. I offer private, in-person therapy in North Miami.

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

You do not need to arrive with a perfectly organized explanation of what is wrong. Our first session gives you space to talk openly about what has been happening, what feels difficult, and what you would like to understand or change. I will guide the conversation with thoughtful questions so we can identify the concerns bringing you in, the patterns that may be maintaining them, and the kind of support that will be most useful. We will also discuss your history, current relationships, responsibilities, sources of stress, and the ways you have already been trying to cope. This allows us to understand the full person behind the presenting concern rather than reducing your experience to a single symptom. By the end of the session, you should have a clearer understanding of what we will be working on and an initial direction for our work together. You will not be expected to disclose everything immediately. Trust is something we build, not something I demand from you.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my greatest strengths is helping people feel understood without making them feel analyzed, rushed, or judged. I pay close attention to what you are saying, what may be difficult to say, and the patterns connecting your emotions, relationships, identity, and choices. Clients often come to therapy knowing that something feels wrong but struggling to find language for it. I help them organize what they are experiencing and understand why certain patterns continue to repeat. I am warm and supportive, but I am not a passive therapist. I bring structure, honest reflection, practical strategies, and thoughtful challenges into the room. We will not only discuss what happened. We will examine how it continues to affect you and what needs to change. My goal is to create a therapeutic relationship where you can be honest, deepen your self-awareness, and make changes that feel genuine rather than performative.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am best positioned to work with creatives, professionals, entrepreneurs, executives, and public-facing individuals who appear capable on the outside but feel overwhelmed, anxious, burned out, or misaligned internally. Many of the people I work with are navigating: High-functioning anxiety and persistent overthinking Burnout, emotional exhaustion, or difficulty slowing down Identity changes and major life transitions Imposter feelings and pressure to maintain an image Low self-trust or difficulty making decisions Perfectionism and fear of disappointing others Experiences from the past that continue to affect the present Relationship patterns, boundaries, and people-pleasing Disconnection from creativity, purpose, or personal fulfillment You do not have to wait until everything falls apart to begin therapy. You may simply recognize that the way you have been living, coping, or relating to yourself is no longer sustainable.

My treatment methods

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I use DBT to help you navigate life’s ups and downs by balancing acceptance and change. Together, we’ll explore how two things can be true at once... you can feel overwhelmed and still want to grow.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT to help you understand how your negative past experiences contribute to your thoughts, feelings, and pattern behaviors. Together, we'll acknowledge your past experiences and work towards breaking unhelpful patterns to move forward.

EMDR

I use EMDR to help you process and release the weight of difficult memories or experiences that may still be affecting you today. Through guided techniques, we’ll reframe how these experiences live in your mind and body, so you can reduce emotional distress, build resilience, and move forward with greater clarity and freedom.

Narrative

I use Narrative Therapy to help you separate yourself from the problems, labels, and past experiences that may be shaping how you see yourself today. Together, we’ll explore the stories you’ve carried, identify the beliefs and patterns that no longer fit, and help you build self-trust, reconnect with your values, and move forward with greater intention.
