I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over a decade of experience helping individuals navigate life’s challenges and create meaningful, lasting change.
I specialize in evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Brainspotting to support healing from trauma, manage anxiety, and build emotional resilience. I’m passionate about creating a safe, supportive space where clients can explore their thoughts and feelings, develop effective coping skills, and move toward a more balanced and fulfilling life. Whether you’re seeking support through a difficult transition or striving for personal growth, I’m here to guide you every step of the way.
First session
In our first session, we’ll focus on getting to know each other and creating a safe, supportive space for you to share what’s bringing you to therapy. I’ll ask questions about your background, current challenges, and goals so we can start building a clear picture of where you are and where you’d like to be. Together, we’ll collaborate on a plan tailored to your needs and discuss the approaches that might work best for you, ensuring you feel heard, understood, and empowered from the very beginning.
Strengths
My greatest strengths lie in creating a warm, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel truly seen and supported, while also offering practical tools for lasting change. I combine evidence-based approaches like CBT, DBT, and Brainspotting to address challenges on both a cognitive and emotional level, helping clients gain insight, build skills, and process deeper issues. My ability to balance compassion with goal-oriented strategies allows clients to feel safe exploring difficult emotions while actively moving toward healing and growth.
Ideal clients
My ideal clients are individuals who are ready to make meaningful changes and are open to exploring themselves on a deeper level. I work best with those navigating anxiety, trauma, emotional dysregulation, or major life transitions, as well as those seeking to improve their relationships and build healthier coping strategies. Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply striving for personal growth, I provide a supportive and nonjudgmental space to help you heal, gain insight, and move forward with confidence.
Treatment methods
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I have extensive experience using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and change unhelpful thought patterns that influence their emotions and behaviors. In my practice, I use CBT to teach practical coping skills, challenge negative thinking, and support clients in developing healthier perspectives. This structured, goal-oriented approach empowers clients to make lasting changes and improve their overall well-being.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
I use Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients build skills in emotional regulation, distress tolerance, mindfulness, and interpersonal effectiveness. In my practice, I integrate DBT techniques to support clients in managing intense emotions, improving relationships, and responding to stress in healthier ways. This approach is especially effective for individuals struggling with emotion dysregulation or impulsive behaviors.
Supportive
I use supportive therapy to provide clients with a safe, nonjudgmental space to process emotions, stressors, and current life challenges. This approach focuses on strengthening coping skills, improving emotional regulation, reinforcing existing strengths, and helping clients feel supported while working through difficult situations. I may use active listening, validation, encouragement, problem-solving, psychoeducation, and reality-based feedback to help clients gain perspective and improve day-to-day functioning. Supportive therapy is also used to help clients build confidence, increase self-awareness, and maintain stability as they work toward their treatment goals.
