Greetings! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I was born in Miami, Florida, but raised in SeatPleasant, Maryland...the DMV area for those who know! Shortly after high school I joined the Marines and enjoyed meeting and making new friends while experiencing the world. I currently reside in Spring, TX.

First session

In our first session, you can expect to answer a few questions as I get to know you and the challenges you face. Together we will develop the goals you want to work towards and accomplish. If you're up to opening up a little more, then we can also dive deeper into your "whys" in order to retrain the way you process life experiences.

Strengths

Having worked in the mental health community for over 13 years, traveled to different states/countries, and meeting others from diverse cultures, I find it easy to meet others where they are with an open mind. Rather than allowing social norms to dictate a client's life, I encourage my clients to consider what works for them.

Ideal clients

I find myself drawn to the Veteran population, women of color, couples experiencing a break down in communication, and anyone struggling to figure out this thing we call life.

Treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT allows for a broader scope to assist clients. I have found this type of therapy to be more flexible for clients to explore and link their thoughts/behavior.

Robyn Gould has been life changing. Through our counseling sessions, I've been able to see parts of myself I didn't realize were missing tools, boundaries, and self worth that I never had or didn't know how to use. Every session gives me new insight and a different perspective on life. I ALWAYS leave feeling empowered, understood, and ready to take on life in a healthier way.
