About me

I specialize in supporting athletes and high‑performing individuals who are navigating mental blocks, performance anxiety, confidence challenges, and the emotional impact of injury, pressure, or burnout. As a former gymnast and current coach, I understand how the body holds stress and pressure and how quickly the nervous system can shift under intense expectations. My work integrates trauma‑informed care with nervous system regulation, helping clients rebuild safety in their bodies, strengthen resilience, and reconnect with a grounded sense of self both in and outside of sport. I also work with teens and adults facing trauma symptoms, anxiety, identity exploration, relationship patterns, and overwhelming emotions. My approach is steady, collaborative, and focused on helping you understand what’s happening internally so you can break old cycles and move toward meaningful change. Whether you’re feeling stuck, disconnected, or unsure how to regain control, I offer a nonjudgmental space where you can explore your story and develop tools that support long‑term healing and growth.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

You can expect a calm, steady, and compassionate environment where your experiences are taken seriously and your story is heard without judgment. In our first session, we’ll slow things down and get a clear picture of what your nervous system has been carrying—whether that’s performance pressure, trauma responses, chronic stress, anxiety, or patterns that keep you feeling stuck. I’ll help you understand how your body and mind interact, especially under strain, and we’ll begin identifying the goals that matter most to you. For athletes, this often includes exploring the emotional impact of injury, confidence blocks, perfectionism, or the internal pressure to perform. For trauma‑affected clients, it may involve rebuilding a sense of safety, grounding, and connection within your body. Together, we’ll develop practical, evidence‑based strategies that support regulation, resilience, and meaningful change. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling understood, supported, and hopeful about the work ahead.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My approach is warm, affirming, and grounded in helping clients create meaningful and sustainable change. I believe every person carries strengths that can be built upon even in life's most difficult seasons. I work from a trauma‑informed and nervous‑system‑focused perspective and help clients understand the patterns that keep them stuck, how those patterns developed in the first place and tools to help shift them. I draw from evidence‑based approaches tailored to your needs, integrating mind‑body awareness, regulation skills, and practical strategies that support long‑term growth. For athletes, this often includes addressing performance pressure, injury‑related stress, and perfectionism. For trauma‑affected clients, it involves rebuilding internal safety and strengthening resilience. Across all sessions, my goal is to help you deepen insight, improve communication, build healthier relationships, and develop tools that support emotional well‑being and lasting change.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal client is someone who is motivated to understand themselves more deeply and ready to break patterns that no longer serve them. Many of the individuals I work with are athletes or high‑performing teens and adults who have spent years pushing through stress, pressure, or trauma without fully realizing how it has shaped their nervous system and emotional well‑being. They may be navigating performance anxiety, confidence challenges, identity shifts, or the lingering effects of difficult experiences that continue to show up in their body and relationships. I’m especially drawn to clients who value a collaborative, trauma‑informed approach and are open to exploring the mind‑body connection as part of their healing. Whether they’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure how to move forward, my ideal client is someone who wants a steady, supportive space to understand what’s happening internally and develop practical tools that create meaningful, sustainable change.

My treatment methods

Person-centered (Rogerian)

I believe in person centered care and that you are the expert of your own life. I highlight your strengths and ways they can help navigate life stress or exploring who you are to your core connecting you to your most authentic and genuine self.

Mind-body approach

I support mind-body therapy and how important the nervous system is for healing and regulation. I utilize somatic based interventions for connection to your mind and body.

Interpersonal

We are all wired for connection and I strive to help you find that within yourself, through others and the world around you.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

ACT is a form of therapy that helps you stay in the present moment, accept difficult thoughts and feelings, and act in ways that align with your values.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

Imagine your mind is like a family. Some members are always trying to keep you safe, others are reacting to stress and overwhelm, and some carry old wounds. We’ll work together to understand each member with curiosity and exploration, meet their needs, and help the calm, compassionate part of you lead the way toward healing.
