My name is Jennifer Leighton, LCSW. As a clinician, I have worked in a variety of settings, including psychiatric, outpatient mental health that provided individual, family, couples, and group counseling. I have extentive experience helping individuals and families facing substance abuse challenges, emotional struggles, relationship stress, trauma, depression, anxiety, and DCPP involvement. My approach is authentic, collaborative, and tailored to your unique needs. I vale transparency and strive to be empathic, direct relatale and supportive. I work to creat an environment where clients feel comfortable expressing themselves openly without fear of judgement. I loook forward to supporting you in your journey towards emotional wellness.
As your clinician, I will make sure your feelings and thoughts are heard. Our sessions will provides peace to pause, breathe and feel supported again. I will ask questions so I can get to know you, how you are feeling and what matters to you. Each session we will build a positive therapeutic relationship. I want you to feel comfortable about the person you are trusting your feelings with.
As a clinician, I believe in authenticity and transparency. I am real, warm, genuine, empathetic, assertive and relatable. I have created a therapeutic environment where my clients can feel confortable and safe being whom they are, where they can share their thoughts and feelings without any judgement. My role is not to tell you who to be, but to be alongside yout with curiosity, compassion and honesty. I will support and motivate you on your journey towards healing, mental well-being, feel more grounded and personal growth. I believe personal growth becomes possible when people feel seen. My approach blends practical tools with deeper reflection. We might build strategies to manage anxiety, practice boundary setting, or prepare for a difficult conversations, while also exploring identity , relationships and long-standing patterns. I want therapy to feel supportive, empowering and useful in your everyday life.
I enjoy working with clients who are motivated for personal growth and well-being. My passion is helping individuals strengthen emotional regulation, seeling clarity, increase self awareness and feel empowerd in their daily life. I want to create a space for healing, growth, change, self-understanding, emotional well-being and a purpose in their daily life. I want all my clients to feel stronger.
