(she/her)
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Massachusetts, as well as a Board Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC) with over 4 years of experience helping clients of all ages who struggle with anxiety, depression, ADHD, ASD, dementia, PTSD, and grief and loss. I specialize in treating anxiety, self-esteem, and adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse through a holistic, client-centered and trauma-informed lens.
The first session is typically focused on getting to know you, your reasons for coming to therapy, past mental health treatment, and goals you want to focus on.
I believe one of my biggest strengths is my ability to meet a client where they're at. I always try to show up to sessions as authentically as possible, and use clinical as well as lived experience to guide my work. I feel my biggest strength regarding approach, is being able to use analytical and receptive music therapy, as a board certified music therapist, to help clients with anxiety, past trauma, and low self-esteem.
I am best positioned to serve adult survivors of childhood sexual abuse and individuals who struggle with anxiety and low self-esteem. If a client is concerned about being misunderstood, has trouble believing in their own worth, or knows the reasons behind why they struggle but doesn't quite know how to move forward or heal, I would be a good fit for them.

Psychodynamic
I help clients examine unconscious processes (thoughts, desires, memories) and past relationships to deepen their understanding of themselves and how influential these are on current emotions and behaviors.
Humanistic
I work from a holistic lens and view the client as an integrated whole rather than a set of symptoms. I place emphasis on empathetic and active listening, unconditional positive regard, and compassionate reflection when speaking with clients.
Feminist
I am mindful of how social, cultural, and political forces, particularly power imbalances, oppression, and gender roles have an impact on mental health.
