Hello! My Name is Michael. I have been a Licensed Professional Counselor for the last 4 years. I love working with people, helping them attain a higher quality of life. While I work with everyone, I mainly focus on Adolescents, Teenagers and Young Adults. A lot of the client's I work with are on the Autism Spectrum.
First session
A First session is for you to decide if you want to work with me, and for myself to see If I will be a good match for you. Generally, during the first session, you tell me your story, and that is the basis of that decision. Hopefully, at the end of the session you will feel a release of tension, and a feeling of hope that things will start to get better.
Strengths
I really enjoy working with people of all walks, and getting to know what makes you tick, and what's holding you back from success. I like to have a lot of conversations, and hear your story. I tend to focus on the intellectual side of Therapy, but still talk a lot about the emotions. I try to modulate my responses to what I feel you need to progress. I do enjoy asking questions that will hopefully get you to see things in a new way.
Ideal clients
I love working with people, regardless of Age, or stage in life. I like working with Adolescents, Teenagers, Young Adults primarily. I like helping people figure out what is holding them back in life and moving past it. I Work well with people on the Autism Spectrum, and helping those clients with their sessions. I work well with people who are looking to change their lives.

I believe that the basis of all Methods is dependent on the strength of the trust between you and myself. If you don't like or trust me, I don't believe growth is possible.
