About me

I hold both my undergraduate and master’s degrees in Social Work from The University of Texas at Austin's School of Social Work. This educational foundation has equipped me with a strong understanding of social work theory, research, and practice. My professional experience has further deepened my commitment to providing evidence-based, compassionate care. I have engaged with individuals, families, and communities facing a range of challenges, such as mental health concerns, chronic illness, trauma, and life transitions. This hands-on experience allows me to tailor therapeutic approaches to meet each client’s unique needs.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During our initial meeting, I’ll ask about what brings you to therapy, your current concerns, and any goals you may have. We’ll review relevant background information—such as past experiences, strengths, and supports—to gain a fuller picture of your unique situation. This session is also your chance to ask questions and express any preferences or expectations you have for therapy. Together, we’ll outline some initial steps and decide on the pace and approach that feels right for you.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I am dedicated to fostering a safe, supportive environment where clients feel empowered to achieve their goals and create lasting change. My goal is to ensure you feel heard, respected, and supported as we start this journey together, always honoring your unique values, preferences, and individual strengths throughout our work.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I believe growth is deeply personal—and that positive expectations, paired with support and willingness, are powerful tools for transformation. If you're looking for a safe, judgment-free space, you’re in the right place. I'm here to support, motivate, and provide compassionate guidance as you engage in the process of self-discovery. My goal is to create a collaborative and supportive environment where each person can explore their unique strengths, develop effective coping strategies, and achieve meaningful personal growth.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I believe there is no one-size-fits-all solution to therapy. I blend practical, evidence-based approaches, such as solution-focused therapy, mindfulness, and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), with emotional regulation skills to support individuals working through a wide range of challenges.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I often use ACT in my practice, which is really about learning to hold space for the messy, hard parts without letting them run the show-so you can move towards the life and relationships you truly value.
