Hi, I'm Kristin. I'm a licensed therapist with nearly 20 years of experience in the field. My clinical training leans heavily on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with an integrative approach using a trauma informed, strengths based, attachment focused lens. My approach is deeply humanistic- rooted in compassion, honesty and integrity. I believe that therapy should be a safe, supportive space, where you can be truly seen and your story handled with care.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we'll start by identifying what brings you into therapy. We'll gently look at your life- noticing where you've been, who you are now and how you envision your life to look and feel when therapy is over. My hope is that you leave our first session feeling truly heard, supported and encouraged, with a sense of hope and readiness to begin the meaningful work of therapy.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of the strongest predictors of positive therapy outcomes is the strength of the relationship you have with your therapist. That means I understand how important it is to find the "Right fit," when choosing a therapist. I believe that my natural ability to develop a warm and safe therapeutic space in combination with my clinical expertise and formal training makes me an ideal therapist. I hope to be part of your journey.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal client is one that is motivated for treatment and ready to do the meaningful work of therapy to create lasting change.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT is considered the “Gold Standard” of clinical care. CBT is an evidence-based therapy that focuses on the connection between your thoughts, emotions and behaviors. CBT is used to treat a wide range of conditions and has been found to be the first line treatment for many conditions.

Cognitive Processing (CPT)

CPT is one of the most effective evidence-based approaches for reducing symptoms of PTSD and treating trauma. CPT is a structured 12 session evidenced based protocol designed to help identify what is keeping you “Stuck,” and promotes recovery from PTSD.

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)

Emotionally focused therapy is an evidence-based approach that helps to understand emotions, and recognize the relational patterns shaped by those emotions. EFT focuses on how attachment patterns were developed, how they show up in our lives and how we can develop more secure attachments and connections to ourselves and the important people in our lives.

She has an intuitive ability to allow flow when it’s needed and to direct with pertinent questions to go deeper as well.
