Hi, I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) with over 20 years of social work and mental health experience. I utilize evidence-based therapy models focused on my clients' strengths, abilities, and unique life experiences in efforts to improve quality of life and restore overall health and wellness. I greatly enjoy my work with clients and the reward in my work is seeing clients succeed and overcome life's challenges.
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.
I have gained knowledge through working in many areas of social work and mental health. This has provided me with insights and perspectives that I love to share with my clients.
I enjoy working with clients whose ages range from teenagers to older adults. I love to work with clients who are ready to get started and are committed to attending sessions and practicing the tools and skills that we discuss in sessions.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with clients who will benefit from a solution focused approach focusing on challenging negative thoughts and behaviors. This is an evidence based treatment that works well with reducing depression, anxiety, and other symptoms that cause distress.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
I use Dialectical Behavior Therapy with clients who can benefit from learning more about emotional awareness and regulation. This can help greatly with those who may be struggling with feelings of anger, guilt, and/or shame.
Compassion Focused
I use Compassion Focused Therapy with clients who can benefit from emotional healing and recovery. CFT can help to develop a kinder and more understanding relationship with self and others.

My initial session with Claire was very warm and welcoming. I found myself opening up easily, and she genuinely listened while also sharing a bit about herself, which helped me feel even more comfortable. I’m looking forward to our next session, and I already feel more optimistic about this journey.

She was just great. We talked, she listened. She was warm and supportive with my recent diagnosis. She had good advice.

Claire actively listened to everything I shared about my current situation and past experiences. I truly appreciated how authentic and direct she was in her responses. She offered empowering feedback, reminding me of my positive qualities and reinforcing my sense of value. She specifically named characteristics she sees as my strengths, which meant a lot. Because of that, I left the session feeling grounded, encouraged, and motivated to keep pushing forward despite everything I have going on.
