My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

In my work, I use CBT to help clients develop greater awareness of how their thoughts influence their feelings and actions. I guide them in identifying cognitive distortions, such as all-or-nothing thinking or catastrophizing and support them in reframing these thoughts into more balanced and realistic perspectives. Additionally, psychoeducation in understanding how core beliefs affect behaviors and mood.

Christian Counseling

In my practice, I draw on the structured, evidence-based framework of CBT while incorporating biblical truth and faith-based perspectives. I help clients identify unhelpful thought patterns and compare them with scriptural biblical principles, encouraging them to replace distorted thinking with truth grounded in their faith. For example, when clients struggle with anxiety, shame, or negative self-worth, I guide them in reframing those thoughts in light of biblical teachings about identity, grace, and purpose. My approach is collaborative and respectful of each client’s level of faith and personal beliefs. I aim to create a safe, supportive space where clients can explore both their mental health concerns and their relationship with God, encouraging them to experience growth and healthy change in both areas. I value this integrated approach because it allows clients to draw strength from their faith while also gaining practical tools to manage life’s challenges.
