Gilit Stein, LCSW has experience working with young adults, college students and adults of all ages facing social and relationship issues. I can help you work through symptoms related to stress, anxiety, PTSD, ADHD and depression. I have experience with chronic illness and complex medical conditions as well. Whether you are seeking brief therapeutic support or a longer-term approach, I am trained to assist in alleviating symptoms. Therapy offers a space where you can feel heard, understood, and less alone. It takes courage to pursue a more fulfilling, balanced, and meaningful life—and to take those first steps toward change.
During our first session I will listen to what brings you to therapy, whether you are returning or just starting out. I am very interactive and the sessions usually go by quickly. I am able to engage clients who struggle with what to say in the session or are unsure how therapy works. I provide an open discussion where anything you would like to talk about is safe.
I am very open minded and speak several languages. If you feel you have not had much to say in other therapy sessions I am confident we will be able to overcome that in our sessions. I work well with people who are outspoken as well as those who struggle with what to say. I provide support and insight in a patient, non-judgmental way.
Evidence-based strategies to help you regain balance, improve your mood, and reconnect with life. Through compassionate, personalized care, we’ll gain practical tools to navigate daily challenges, rebuild confidence, and create lasting, meaningful change. I have experience working with clients who have chronic medical conditions; working through relationship issues including divorce; as well as managing life stressors related to anxiety, depression, ADHD and PTSD.
