(she/her)
Hi, I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Florida and am also licensed in Maine (LCPC). I received my masters in Rehabilitation and Mental Health from the University of South Florida. I work with my clients on their mental health struggles (trauma/PTSD, depression, anxiety, mood disorders, addiction, and coping skills to name a few) to enable them to manage their mental health so it is not interfering with their daily functioning and they can be the best version of themselves.
Our first session will be primarily a get-to-know-you session. We will review any assessments already completed and may complete other questionnaires/assessments depending on your needs. I will go over what sessions will look like on an ongoing basis, and what modes of therapy I primarily use. You will have an opportunity to ask questions as well. And finally I will get an overview from you of what you are seeking therapy for so that we can plan where we will start.
I have worked with many different types of clients as well as a diverse selection of issues. I am a good listener and try to create a warm, soothing environment in which to share. I am non-judgmental and open-minded. I am a flexible and casual person.
My ideal clients are individuals who are ready to better understand themselves and create meaningful change in their lives, even if they’re not exactly sure where to start. I work best with people who may be experiencing anxiety, depression, mood disorders, or feeling stuck—whether in relationships, life transitions, or their sense of identity. Many of my clients are thoughtful and self-aware but may struggle with self-doubt, overthinking, or difficulty managing emotions. They often want to feel more confident, set healthier boundaries, and develop a stronger sense of direction and purpose. I’m especially well-positioned to support clients who are open to reflection, curious about their patterns, and willing to engage in the process of growth and change. Whether someone is navigating stress, building self-confidence, or working through past experiences, I aim to provide a supportive space where they can gain insight, learn and build practical skills, and move toward lasting change.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as my treatment method. CBT holds the belief that our behaviors, thoughts, and emotions are all interconnected and act/react on each other. For example feeling certain emotions can make us have certain thoughts or behaviors. I will work with you to effectively manage your emotions, thoughts and behaviors for better daily functioning.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
I also use Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) in my practice along side the CBT. With DBT you will learn about Mindfulness, Interpersonal Effectiveness, Distress Tolerance, and Emotional Regulation.
