About me

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who is committed to assisting you through your journey to becoming the best version of yourself. Together we can work to increase skills to navigate through life's ups and downs. Whether you're dealing with overwhelm, relationship issues or cycles of anxiety and depression, I'm here to help. Seeking therapy can feel scary but you're making the right choice, a courageous one at that. Like many journeys, therapy begins with where you are now, factors in where you have been, and creates a plan for where you want to go. I have found that an eclectic therapeutic approach adapted to individual needs is most effective. This approach utilizes cognitive, behavioral, trauma informed practices and mindfulness techniques.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions and spend time focusing on the therapeutic relationship to ensure that when you are ready to dive into the specific challenges you're facing, that we have created trust and a foundation to support that process. Together we will create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I feel my biggest strengths are always remaining hopeful, being non-judgmental, having the ability to remain neutral and be understanding of multiple viewpoints, being strength focused and meeting you where you're at.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I love working with those who really want to be here. If you are brave enough to take the first step, then I will be right here to support you. Clients I've served are eager to improve, but don't yet have the tools needed to make this goal a reality. They often feel stuck, overwhelmed and anxious about life and/or their current stressors.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have extensive experience using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as a primary therapeutic approach with clients. Over the years, I’ve worked with individuals facing a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress-related disorders. I’ve had the opportunity to train in various CBT models, including traditional CBT, mindfulness-based CBT (MBCT), and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), all of which incorporate elements of CBT principles. Through both formal training and years of practice, I’ve learned to adapt CBT techniques to fit the unique needs of each client. I continue to engage in professional development and supervision to stay current with the latest research and best practices in CBT.
