New to Grow
I’m a therapist who works with teens and adults navigating anxiety, OCD, trauma, and life transitions. I support clients in making sense of overwhelming thoughts, emotions, and patterns that can feel confusing or hard to manage, so they can feel more grounded, in control, and connected to themselves. My approach blends insight-oriented therapy with practical, skills-based tools to help you better understand what’s going on internally while also giving you ways to cope day to day. I aim to create a supportive, collaborative space where meaningful and lasting change can happen over time.
In our first session, we’ll focus on getting to know you—what’s bringing you in, what you’ve been struggling with, and what you’re hoping will feel different in your life. I’ll ask thoughtful questions to understand your experiences, but there’s no pressure to share everything all at once—we’ll go at a pace that feels comfortable for you. You can expect a warm, collaborative conversation where you feel heard and supported. I’ll also begin to share how I work and how we might approach your goals, including a mix of insight, skill-building, and practical tools. By the end of the session, you’ll have a clearer sense of how we can work together and what the next steps might look like.
What stands out about my approach is the balance between deep insight and real, practical change. I don’t just help you understand why you feel the way you do—I also give you tools to actually shift it in your day-to-day life. I integrate parts work (IFS), somatic awareness, and mindfulness to help you understand the underlying patterns driving your thoughts and emotions, especially when it comes to anxiety, OCD, or the impact of earlier experiences. At the same time, I incorporate CBT/DBT skills so you have clear, actionable ways to manage overwhelming feelings, intrusive thoughts, and reactions in the moment. Clients often tell me they feel both deeply understood and more in control of themselves. The goal isn’t just temporary relief—it’s helping you build lasting self-awareness, emotional resilience, and the ability to respond to life in a way that feels more aligned with who you are.
I’m best positioned to work with teens and adults who are thoughtful, self-aware, and ready to better understand themselves—even if they’re not exactly sure where to start. Many of my clients feel stuck in patterns of anxiety, intrusive thoughts, emotional overwhelm, or the lingering impact of past experiences. On the outside, they’re often functioning well, but internally they may feel exhausted, disconnected, or not fully in control. I work especially well with individuals navigating anxiety, OCD, trauma, grief, and major life transitions, including postpartum changes and shifts in identity. Many of the people I work with are motivated for change but need support slowing down, making sense of what they’re feeling, and learning how to respond differently rather than react automatically. My clients are typically open to reflection and curious about the “why” behind their thoughts and behaviors. They may be looking not just for coping skills, but for deeper, lasting change—whether that means improving relationships, building emotional resilience, processing loss, or feeling more grounded and present in their daily lives.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use CBT to help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we identify unhelpful thinking patterns—like catastrophizing or all-or-nothing thinking—and work to challenge and reframe them in a more balanced, realistic way. I integrate practical tools and strategies that clients can apply in their daily lives, helping them feel more in control of anxiety, depression, and stress.
Relational
I view the therapeutic relationship as central to the healing process. Through a relational approach, I pay close attention to patterns that emerge within our work together and how they may reflect broader relationship dynamics in a client’s life. I aim to create a safe, attuned, and authentic space where clients can experience trust, repair, and healthier ways of connecting.
Internal Family Systems (IFS)
I use IFS to help clients explore and understand the different “parts” of themselves—especially the parts that carry pain, fear, or protective roles. This approach allows clients to develop compassion toward themselves rather than judgment. I guide clients in identifying these internal dynamics and working toward healing wounded parts, which can be especially powerful for trauma, anxiety, and longstanding emotional patterns.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
In my work, DBT is especially helpful for clients who experience intense emotions or difficulty managing distress. I teach skills in mindfulness, emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness. I focus on helping clients both accept their emotional experiences and build the tools to respond to them more effectively, creating a balance between validation and change.
Grief Therapy
I support clients through grief by providing a space to process loss at their own pace, without pressure to “move on.” I help clients make meaning of their loss, navigate complex emotions, and find ways to stay connected to what they’ve lost while continuing to live fully. My approach is especially sensitive to both acute loss and more ambiguous or longstanding grief.
