About me

Hello, and thank you for taking the first step in your healing journey. You’re likely here because you are unhappy about a situation or circumstance in your life, and you’re looking for support and guidance on making a change for the better. If this is you, you are in the right place. I believe in empowering my clients to take control of their lives, and learn how to make lasting change. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (in DE and PA) with over 15 years of experience treating children, adolescents, and adults. Over the years I have worked in various treatment settings including, but not limited to: schools, homes, juvenile detention centers, and outpatient centers. If you feel that I may be a good fit, please reach out and we can discuss more about how I can assist you.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session together we complete a comprehensive assessment of your background, current symptoms, and therapeutic needs. We will then begin to shape a plan for your treatment.

The treatment methods and tools I utilize

My approach is client-centered, collaborative, and eclectic. I utilize a trauma-informed framework and my treatment approach consists of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Structural Family Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, and Strengths Based Counseling.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My strength is my ability to provide an empathetic ear, identify what tools/skills can help my clients to gain more awareness and insight, and implement a collaborative plan that enables my clients to make decisions and regain control of their lives.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My focus is working with children, adolescents, young adults, and their families that are dealing with family conflict, anxiety, depression, grief/loss, and trauma. I am also passionate about normalizing mental health issues in people of color, as well as those from underserved and marginalized communities, in order to eliminate the stigma attached with seeking therapy.
