(she/her)
I help anxious and overwhelmed adults move from survival mode to emotional balance. Many of my clients struggle with chronic stress, burnout, overthinking, people-pleasing, low self-esteem, and difficulty setting healthy boundaries. With more than 23 years of experience in mental health services, I provide a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where clients can slow down, feel heard, and begin creating healthier patterns, stronger self-worth, and lasting emotional wellness.
Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and it’s completely normal to feel nervous, unsure, or even a little overwhelmed before your first session. My goal is to help you feel comfortable, supported, and met exactly where you are. In our first session, we’ll spend time getting to know what’s been going on in your life and what brought you to therapy. There’s no pressure to have the “right words” or a clear plan—some people come in knowing exactly what they want to work on, while others just know something doesn’t feel quite right. Either is okay. We’ll talk through what’s been feeling heavy lately, any stress, anxiety, burnout, relationship patterns, or life changes you’ve been navigating, and begin to gently explore what you might want to feel different in your life. You’re always in control of what you choose to share and how quickly we go. From there, we’ll start shaping a direction together—what you’d like support with, what you’re hoping for, and what feeling better might look like for you. My role is to walk alongside you, help you sort through things, and support you in finding more balance, clarity, and self-understanding. Most importantly, the first session is about helping you feel heard and safe enough to simply be yourself. You don’t have to have it all figured out before starting. We’ll take it one step at a time, together.
What stands out about my therapeutic approach is the balance of warmth, collaboration, and practical, evidence-based care. I create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and understood, while also helping them move toward meaningful change in their daily lives. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, mindfulness, and trauma-informed, person-centered approaches. Rather than using a one-size-fits-all model, I tailor therapy to each client’s needs—offering both structured skill-building and space for reflection and emotional processing as needed. A strong focus of my work is helping clients identify and shift patterns such as anxiety, burnout, perfectionism, boundary difficulties, and chronic stress. Together, we build practical coping tools that support emotional regulation, clearer thinking, and healthier ways of responding to life’s demands. Clients often come to therapy feeling overwhelmed or stuck, and over time report feeling more grounded, self-aware, and capable of managing challenges. Many notice improvements in emotional balance, confidence in decision-making, and the ability to set and maintain healthier boundaries. With over 20 years of clinical experience across multiple settings, I bring flexibility and depth to my work, allowing me to adapt treatment to each person’s unique situation while keeping a strong focus on real-world application and lasting change. Ultimately, what sets my approach apart is the integration of insight-oriented work with practical tools that clients can use outside of sessions, helping create not just understanding, but sustainable improvements in daily life.
I work with individuals and families across the lifespan who are navigating anxiety, depression, stress, burnout, and life transitions. Many of my clients are feeling overwhelmed, emotionally drained, or stuck in patterns that no longer feel sustainable. I also support concerns related to self-esteem, boundaries, communication, and relationship stress, as well as the emotional impact of chronic medical conditions. In addition, I work with parents and caregivers of young children in the birth-to-five years, supporting early development, attachment, and the challenges that come with early parenting. My clients often come to therapy wanting relief from stress and emotional overload, but also wanting a better understanding of themselves and how to create more balance in their lives. They are looking for a space where they can slow down, feel heard, and begin to make sense of what they are experiencing without judgment. Together, we focus on identifying patterns that contribute to distress, building practical coping tools, and strengthening emotional awareness and regulation. I also support clients in developing healthier boundaries, improving communication, and reconnecting with their own needs and values. The people I work with are often motivated for change, even if they feel uncertain about where to begin. Therapy becomes a space to gain clarity, develop skills, and move toward a more grounded and manageable way of living. My approach is collaborative and supportive, with a focus on both insight and practical strategies that can be applied in daily life.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as a practical, evidence-based tool to help clients identify and gently challenge unhelpful thought patterns that fuel anxiety, stress, and negative self-image. With years of experience, I guide adults and parents to replace these thoughts with healthier, more balanced perspectives, empowering them to break cycles of overwhelm and build lasting emotional resilience. CBT becomes a roadmap for my clients to better understand their minds, develop coping skills, and create meaningful change in their lives.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
I incorporate mindfulness-based therapy to help clients cultivate present-moment awareness and self-compassion. This approach teaches practical skills to observe thoughts and emotions without judgment, reducing stress and emotional overwhelm. By fostering greater calm and clarity, mindfulness supports healing from anxiety, burnout, and relational challenges—helping clients reconnect with themselves and respond to life’s difficulties with more balance and ease.
Motivational Interviewing
I use Motivational Interviewing to support clients in exploring their own values and goals, helping them find internal motivation for meaningful change. This collaborative, compassionate approach gently guides adults and parents through ambivalence or resistance, empowering them to take confident steps toward healing, growth, and healthier relationships.
Trauma-Focused CBT
I am certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), a specialized approach designed to help clients safely process and heal from trauma. Using TF-CBT, I guide adults and parents through understanding their trauma responses, reshaping unhelpful beliefs, and developing coping skills to reduce distress. This evidence-based method fosters resilience and empowerment, helping clients reclaim their lives and build healthier relationships.
Person-centered (Rogerian)
In my practice, I use Person-Centered Therapy to create a warm, non-judgmental space where clients feel truly heard and valued. This approach honors each person’s unique experience and inner wisdom, fostering self-acceptance and growth. By building a strong therapeutic relationship grounded in empathy and trust, I help adults and parents feel safe to explore their challenges and move toward healing and greater emotional well-being.
