I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Doctorate-level clinician who provides compassionate, culturally responsive, and evidence-based care to children, adolescents, adults, and families. I specialize in supporting individuals navigating anxiety, trauma, neurodivergence (including autism and ADHD), and complex family or co-parenting dynamics. My approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and tailored to each client’s unique needs, helping you build insight, develop practical coping strategies, and create meaningful, lasting change in your daily life and relationships.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In your first session, you can expect a welcoming, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where we begin getting to know each other. We will discuss what brings you to therapy, your current concerns, and any relevant background to better understand your needs and goals. I will also explain my approach, answer any questions you may have, and collaborate with you to begin identifying initial goals for treatment. This session is at your pace, with a focus on building comfort, trust, and a strong foundation for our work together.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strengths include creating a warm, safe, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel truly seen and understood. I bring a balance of clinical expertise and genuine human connection, using a collaborative and strengths-based approach tailored to each individual. I’m also known for incorporating humor in a thoughtful and appropriate way, helping to ease tension, build rapport, and make the therapeutic process feel more approachable and authentic.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am best positioned to serve children, adolescents, adults, and families navigating emotional, behavioral, and relational challenges, including anxiety, trauma, life transitions, and neurodivergence (e.g., autism and ADHD). I work particularly well with clients seeking greater self-awareness, improved coping skills, and healthier relationships. My approach is ideal for those open to a collaborative, culturally responsive, and strengths-based process, including individuals and families managing co-parenting dynamics, communication difficulties, and complex family systems.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT focuses on identifying and restructuring unhelpful thought patterns that influence emotions and behaviors. It supports clients in developing practical coping strategies to improve functioning and emotional regulation.

Couples Counseling

Couples counseling focuses on improving communication, resolving conflict, and strengthening emotional connection between partners. It supports the development of healthier relational patterns and mutual understanding.

Trauma Informed Care

Trauma-informed therapy prioritizes safety, trust, and empowerment while recognizing the impact of past trauma on current functioning. Interventions are delivered with sensitivity to avoid re-traumatization and promote healing.

Psychodynamic

Psychodynamic therapy explores unconscious patterns, early experiences, and relational dynamics that influence current thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. It helps clients gain insight into underlying issues to foster long-term change.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

SFBT is a goal-oriented approach that emphasizes clients’ strengths and existing resources to create meaningful change. It focuses on identifying solutions and building on what is already working.
