Hi, I'm Felicia N. Reid! Thank you for considering sharing your journey with me. Starting counseling can be stressful, but hopefully we can start this process together, getting you to a better place mentally. I received a Bachelor of Science in Experimental Psychology from University of South Carolina-Spartanburg (Upstate)-2002 & Master of Arts in Counseling w/Mental Health emphasis from Webster University-2007. Also, I've received training in mediation & conflict resolution for about 11 years.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Clients should expect to have an open dialogue for their first session with me about the reason why they are pursuing therapy and to provide expectations or desired outcomes as a result of therapy. **Note that my posted availability is for new clients. Current clients should reschedule with me via portal or text.**

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I consider myself as a guide in a client's journey of learning about themself more, having improved interactions with others, and having a better grasp on life.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

Individuals, couples, and families going through life adjustments are my areas of specialty. I consider myself as an eclectic therapist, which means that I gather from several counseling theories when working with clients. Oftentimes, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy, Family Systems Therapy, and Existentialism. I believe that each client is different, and one approach doesn't fit all.
