New to Grow
I strive to provide a structured and supportive space where sustainable change can occur. We know that life can be painful, and at times, completely devastating. As we navigate life, we inevitably encounter reality gaps, which are the space between the life we have and the life we want. The wider the gap, the deeper the distress. My role is to meet individuals where they are and guide them toward bridging that gap. I have over a decade of experience working with adults and adolescents facing chronic depression, anxiety, attachment challenges, and relational conflict.
Our first session will probably cover a lot of ground! We will spend time speaking about what led you to seek therapy and the patterns you’d like to see shift or change. This session also gives you the chance to get a sense of my approach, so we can decide together how best to move forward. I often work from an Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) perspective, which involves exploring the mind’s chatter, identifying unhelpful patterns, and understanding the larger systems you’re part of. ACT is a non-linear & flexible model that involves meeting clients where they are in the present moment.
I often hear that I am thoughtful, detail-oriented, and kind.
My ideal client may feel stuck in unhelpful patterns and is dealing with stressors or life transitions.
