Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

You feel stuck right now. Work and life feel out of balance, and you have no motivation because your days just look the same; go to work, come home, and scroll on social media until you lose track of time. Your anxiety is there all day, whispering in your ear about the future, bills, and everything going wrong in the world. You feel tense and on edge all the time. You don’t really have anyone you feel safe talking to, because you’re scared your family or friends might judge you or not understand. You might even feel like you’re still figuring out who you are, or if you’re a college student, maybe perfectionism is running your life

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

As a provider, my greatest strength lies in my ability to connect with younger generations, particularly Gen Z and Millennials, who are navigating the complexities of work, education, and personal growth. As a millennial, I understand the unique challenges and pressures you face in today's fast-paced world, and I tailor my approach to meet your needs in a way that resonates with your lifestyle. One of my key strengths is my non-traditional therapy practice. Rather than adhering strictly to conventional therapy methods, I embrace innovative approaches that align with the preferences and values of younger clients. I recognize that traditional therapy may not always feel relatable or accessible to individuals in this demographic, so I strive to create a safe and inclusive space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and goals in a way that feels authentic and empowering. In my practice, I blend evidence-based techniques with modern modalities, such as mindfulness, expressive arts therapy, and technology-assisted interventions. I believe in meeting you where you are and integrating tools and strategies that resonate with your interests and preferences. Whether it's incorporating journaling, music, or digital resources into our sessions, I aim to make therapy a dynamic and engaging experience that supports your growth and well-being. Moreover, I place a strong emphasis on collaboration and partnership in the therapeutic process. I view you as an active participant in your own journey, and I encourage open dialogue, feedback, and goal-setting to ensure that our sessions are meaningful and impactful. Together, we explore your strengths, values, and aspirations, while also addressing any barriers or challenges that may arise along the way.

Dr. Tiara is kind, but every time we talked about anything from the start of the first session, she recommended I see someone else. I'm not sure what she specializes in, but she couldn't help me with anything and seemed to simply not want to treat me from our very first session. She wasted both our time.
