I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and I have experience working with clients with many different challenges. I have worked in a variety of settings from state and federal agencies, prisons, and private agencies. Being a military veteran and retired from the federal government, I feel my life path has been a voyage of discovery and I look forward to helping others find their own path in this world. I currently offer tele-therapy in Virginia, Massachusetts and Maine.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session will be spent mainly getting to know one another and finding out what your strengths are, along with what brought you to therapy.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I am open and non-judgmental and truly want to help.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I strive to create a non-judgmental space for clients to explore their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I appreciate the complexity and uniqueness of everyone and believe that each individual is the expert of their own thoughts, feelings, experiences, and challenges.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

We learn together how to change your unhelpful thoughts, which helps change unwanted behaviors.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

We learn mindfulness techniques in order to reduce anxiety in our lives and quiet our minds.

We explore the personality and mind, current relationships, emotional expression, and social factors that may impact you.
