In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In your first session, you can expect a comprehensive assessment to gain a clear understanding of your values and challenges. We'll take the time to discuss your goals for therapy and identify the areas you want to focus on. Dr. Emily has been very helpful with her guidance. Every meeting she is always making sure that there is something I am taking back from our sessions and have goals for our next ones. AND she is very good at being a deep listener with full attention and will respond rationally and with care (she may have to take notes like any Dr. should, but she doesn't stare at her desk like others I've seen). I like that she is very observant and that she also encourages emotional awareness. Thank you Dr!
