My approach is rooted in Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy, a powerful, evidence-based model that helps you understand and heal the different parts of yourself that influence your relationship with food, body image, and self-worth. Through IFS, we’ll work together to unburden the emotional pain, self-judgment, and past experiences holding you back. Navigating challenges related to health, body image, and self-acceptance can feel overwhelming. As a licensed clinical social worker with over a decade of experience, I provide a safe and judgment-free space to explore the emotional, behavioral & psych aspects of these struggles.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

We’ll go at your pace. I’ll ask a few warm, clear questions to understand what’s been hard and what you hope will feel different, and I’ll explain how IFS and somatic tools can support you. Together, we’ll create a simple plan so you leave with a sense of direction—whether you’re seeking therapy for eating/weight concerns, body image, or support around bariatric surgery.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Clients tell me they feel seen, safe, and not judged. I bring 14+ years of experience, deep training in IFS, and a calm, practical style that blends mind-body work for real-life change. I also offer thorough bariatric surgery evaluations and follow-up counseling, and provide convenient virtual sessions across Massachusetts.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I’m a good fit for people who feel stuck in patterns with food, body image, or self-worth—especially if stress or past trauma is part of the picture. My clients are thoughtful, motivated, and ready for a kinder way forward, even if they’re not sure where to start. I use Internal Family Systems (IFS) and gentle, body-based (somatic) practices to help you build a calmer relationship with food, your body, and yourself.

My treatment methods

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

I use Internal Family Systems (IFS) to support people who struggle with eating, body image, or the effects of past trauma. Together, we explore the different parts of you with compassion, so you can understand what they’ve been trying to protect. This gentle process helps you feel more at peace with food, your body, and yourself.

Somatic

I also use gentle somatic practices to help people notice how emotions and past experiences show up in their bodies. By tuning into these sensations with curiosity and care, clients can release old tension and find a greater sense of calm. This body-based work supports healing from trauma and builds a stronger, more trusting connection with yourself.
