I know that the decision to start therapy is a huge step and that actually going through with therapy can be a cause of fear or anxiety as therapy is not always easy as it takes time, money and ultimately effort to open up to someone who regardless of experience or training is just a stranger at first.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

I want you to feel that you are an integral part of therapy and that it is a collaborative effort, I never want you to walk away feeling that you were not listened to or that you were being judged.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My strengths as described by previous clients are my openness to understand a client and to make a client feel they are being listened too and not just talked too. I have experience treating different types of clients with various diagnoses from mood disorders such as depression/bipolar disorder to personality disorders such as borderline personality disorder to clients who are struggling with schizophrenia or other psychoses

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I have worked in various settings from social work, community mental health agencies, and hospital outpatient services. I use my past experiences with working with clients from all walks of life and who have come from diverse backgrounds to help me better understand the point of view of my clients and to help me be a better therapist for you.
