About me

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who works with adults, teens, and children dealing with anxiety, trauma, ADHD, stress, and emotional regulation challenges. I help people who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected learn practical skills to manage their emotions, improve relationships, and create meaningful change. I also work with children and families facing issues like behavioral challenges, trauma, and adjustment stress. My approach blends evidence-based strategies with an understanding of the mind-body connection, helping clients of all ages develop awareness, resilience, and healthier patterns. My style is direct, supportive, and practical clients often tell me they appreciate that I’m down-to-earth and honest while also helping them make real progress.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we’ll take time to understand what you’re struggling with, what you want to change, and what you hope to get out of therapy. I’ll guide the conversation so you don’t have to prepare anything in advance or worry about saying things “the right way.” I’ll also explain my approach, answer your questions, and work with you to outline a clear starting plan. Most clients tell me they leave the first session feeling more grounded, understood, and relieved to finally have direction.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my greatest strengths as a therapist is blending compassion with practical, evidence-based strategies. With my background in psychophysiology, I help clients understand how stress and emotions affect the body, and I teach skills they can use right away to feel more grounded and in control. Clients often tell me they appreciate that I’m down-to-earth, direct, and honest, while still being supportive and encouraging. I focus on creating a safe, collaborative space where people feel understood and leave each session with tools that actually fit their lives.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work best with clients who are ready for support, open to learning new skills, and willing to look at what isn’t working in their lives with honesty and curiosity. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, trauma, ADHD, stress, or relationship challenges, my ideal clients are people who want practical strategies, clear guidance, and a therapist who will be both supportive and straightforward. I also enjoy working with parents, teens, and children who need help with emotional regulation, behavior concerns, or adjusting to major life changes. I find that clients do well with me when they’re open to trying new approaches and interested in building skills that create real, lasting improvements in daily life.
