LCSW, 12 years of experience
Welcome! My name is Chelsea Trice and I have been providing mental health services for 12 years. In our sessions, you will find a non-judgmental, supportive environment where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences freely. I strive to meet you where you are, honoring your unique journey and strengths while working collaboratively toward your goals. Whether you’re navigating life transitions, processing past experiences, or seeking deeper self-understanding, I am here to support you with compassion and respect. Healing happens in connection, and I would be honored to be part of your journey. I consider myself to be a very versatile therapist. While I specialize in trauma treatment using EMDR, I have a diverse portfolio. I specialize in Adolescent Mental health but I love working with all ages and stages of life. I love individual therapy but I also love couples and family work just as much!
During a first session I like to really focus on building a strong connection with my clients. I like to provide my clients with whatever information they would like to feel out if they think I'm the right therapist for them.
I really flourish with building rapport and helping clients find hope and possibilities.
I love to work with clients who have never tried therapy before, or those who may feel like they've tried everything and nothing works. I love getting to be part of the journey when they realize how transformative therapy can be. I have experience and get enjoyment from working with all ages 6 and older. My favorite age group to work with is ages 14-25. Adolescents and early adulthood are unique stages of self-discovery and I love working with individuals who are on that journey. I also really love working with those who are in a rediscovery phase or starting over. Finding yourself is hard work, and I love helping people on that journey. While I work with all individuals aged 6 and older, I may not be the best fit as an individual therapist for kiddos under 12. I love to work with these ages for either family therapy or if they experienced a trauma and are in need of EMDR, otherwise, I would recommend a play therapist in most situations outside of that.
I've been providing EMDR for the last 5 years and have had great success with helping clients heal from past and recent traumas.
