My name is Tammy Hicks. I am a licensed Professional Counselor and have been fully licensed since 2009. I am married with 13 y/o twins (B/G). I love spending time with my family, friends, and dogs. I also enjoy reading, traveling, and watching shows. I have experience working with different populations in several different environments. I have experience working with, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and more. I am trained in CBT but will always tailor sessions towards what is best for the client.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In the first session I will introduce myself and let you know what to expect in the sessions. We will go over what brought you to therapy, some background about you, and your goals.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I am a parent, so I feel that I have the ability to empathize with parents and children at this point in my life. I also have worked with a variety of types of people and difficulties. I try to meet the client where they are. I try to connect with a client, no matter the age, and make sure they feel as comfortable as they can.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I enjoy working with those that experience anxiety and depression difficulties. I also have a lot of experience working with those that are having relationship issues (family and intimate). I enjoy working with adults and teenagers. I have a lot of experience right now, firsthand, dealing with middle school kids.
